Our Mission

The Essex Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit organization, made up of parent volunteers whose mission is to support and donate funds to the athletic department. The funds raised are used in a variety of ways to support the EHS interscholastic athletic teams. In recent years Boosters have supplemented the transportation budget, purchased uniforms for the teams, donated money for coaches' clinics, sent student-athletes to the annual Leadership Conference, paid for facilities upgrades, and much more.

Money is raised in a variety of ways. We run the concession stand at home sporting events, and sell clothing and other merchandise. We also solicit donations from the community. We ask for your support and your participation in our fundraising efforts. It all benefits the students and helps us to provide the best possible athletic experience for the largest number athletes.

All parents of EHS athletes are automatically members of the Booster Club. You can and will be asked to contribute a small amount of time to help. All parents and friends are encouraged to attend Booster Club meetings. One parent from each athletic team is needed to serve as a representative or "team parent," and attend Booster Club meetings during that sport season. With the involvement of our parents, we can accomplish great things for our kids.
