May Booster Minutes
Attendance: Sandy Sherman, Valerie McNamara, Betsy Hoehl,
Laura Darden, Lisa Cray, Ed Hockenbury, Laurie Valley, Betsy Weischedel,
Michael Goodrich
Discussed
whether or not to give $500 to girls track for additional uniforms. We did not give them any money for uniforms
last spring.
Discussed the need for our tax exempt status.
We need to register with the IRS and with the state government. Ed, Betsy, and Betsy will meet to review
We
discussed the possibility of changing the meeting schedule from eleven to seven
meetings. Aug, Sept, Nov, Dec, Feb,
March, May. We would need to line up
people in advance to chair events.
Betsy
Hoehl will by co-president, Betsy Weischedel will be treasurer, Sandy Sherman
will be Secretary, and Lisa Cray will be Merchandise Chair.
A teacher
in charge of Freshman Orientation was looking for some items to give away
during orientation.
Lisa asked
for logo samples from Ed and is looking into possible new merchandise items.
We will
need to vote on $$ for Sheila Stawinkski’s program and Leo’s training $$. Ed is not ready to provide information
yet. We could vote in August.
The fall
parent/athlete meeting is scheduled for August 7th.
